Another Method -

4). Medium size onion - 1
5). Ginger - 1/2 inch

For vegans, you can skip milk yogurt or curd and add cashew yogurt/almond yogurt/small tomato or 2tbsp of lemon juice to give it a tangy taste. Some people like to include dried apricot in mint cold sauce or chutney and black raisins. Coconut is also added. I make this cold sauce with fresh raw mango too & it gives delicious flavour to it.
These cold sauces go well with dumplings, rolls, sandwiches, patties, fankies (for little twist), in tacos with twist and in Indian recipes like pakodas, paneer tikka, french fries, wedges, samosas, kababs, cutlets, paranthas or with normal breakfast, lunch & dinner. You can also serve it cold with any tandoori snack or starter recipes.
