Hope you are doing well in your lives. When I was writing this review, it just rained today. The weather was awesome. Every season has it's own significance. Each season has some beauty in it and if you are living at a place where you witness different season then you are lucky. While seasons add newness to our lives and we never get bored, they have some drawbacks too.

Well, Summer is one of the seasons that has its own characteristics and charm. From Watermelon to cool drinks & ice creams, we enjoy summers and try our things to keep ourselves  cool. However, the major problem we face is suntan or sunburn. Harmful UV rays coming from sun affects your skin badly giving you skin darkening and spots. These rays are also responsible for untimely wrinkles & fine lines or age spots. Carrots contain rich amount of potassium. Potassium is a vasodilator. Vasodilation refers to the widening of blood vessels. It results from relaxation of smooth muscle cells within the vessel walls, in particular in the large veins (called venodilators), large arteries, and smaller arterioles. The process is the opposite of vasoconstriction, which is the narrowing of blood vessels. 

Potassium in carrot can relax the tension in your blood vessels and arteries. It increases the blood flow and circulation which boost organ function throughout the body and reduces the stress on the cardiovascular system. High blood pressure may lead to strokes, heart attacks and atherosclerosis. The coumarin present in carrot also helps in reducing hypertension and protects the heart health!

Carrot contains Beta-carotene. Consumption of Beta-carotene reduces the risk of several cancers. It protects against lung cancer. British researchers found that increased consumption of beta-carotene from 1.7 to 2.7 milligrams per day reduced the risk of lung cancer by more than 40%. Carrot (an average) contains about 3 milligrams of beta-carotene.

A study conducted by researchers found that carrots reduced the risk of colon cancer by as much as 24% as they contain fiber. Other study revealed that women who ate raw carrots were 5 to 8 times less likely to develop breastfeeding cancer than those who didn't.

I bought Zandu chyavanprash avaleha pack of net wt. 900g worth ₹285/-


APPEARANCE & PACKAGING - ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

Zandu chyavanprash avaleha comes in plastic packaging. The colors used are orange and green. However, it is so very common today. You can see many products with same colors and style so you can't say it is unique. 

Details are written either in white or black on the packaging. Packaging is OK and easy to use. You can open the lid, tear the seal and scoop it out with a spoon. However, it is better not to use same spoon again at the same time as it is not hygienic. When you lick the product from the spoon and use same spoon to take out second time, the germs may get into the whole pack.
So, always use clean spoon everytime.

Packaging is very normal and you can say it OK bit not unique or attractive.
The content is blackish brown in color. It may appear dark brown too with black tint.

15). It has a good taste.

I couldn't say it can have any side-effect. However, if you are allergic to any ingredient or amla, it may prove not good for you.  Secondly, it can cause acidity if not taken as per directions. If you have certain health conditions, it is better to consult a doctor.

One thing to be discussed is that the brands recommends it to take with honey or milk while it is controversial as some experts claim that it should be taken before half an hour or one hour before you consume milk. As it contains amla and there is vitamin c and sourness, it can be harmful to take it with milk. Also, it is directed by brand to take two tablespoons of it while it is better to take the amount that suits you. I mean not more than two tbspns but you can start with one tbsp.

We all love soups. They are not only healthy but full of tastes too. Specially, in winters, they are awesome. More often, when you want soup, either you go to some restaurant or prepare it at home. And yes, it takes time. However, homemade food is always pure and hygienic. I will talk later about homemade soup. But, now I am talking about tomato soup. Oh! It's my favorite. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹ Being vegetarian, I love tomato soup most and then vegetable soups are the soups I am fond of !

Seeing the opportunity to provide best realising the need of people and earning more profits in this competitive world, food industries are laying emphasis on ready to made food products that require less time and no more additives.

Today, I am talking about  KNORR CLASSIC THICK TOMATO SOUP .

Is it really healthy ? Is it tasty ??? To find out , plz keep reading this. Now, I want to tell you here that the things I review about in my blogs whether Beauty blog or Health blog are purchased by me and I give reviews on my own experience. These are all honest reviews. So, in today's article also, I am sharing review about knorr classic thick tomato soup that is based on my experience of using it.

  WHAT  THE  BRAND  CLAIMS ? :- 

Knorr Classic Thick Tomato Soup comes with 100% Real vegetables with no added preservatives. Brand says that great taste is in our nature & claims that they don't use preservatives in their great tasting soup just like you. Knorr choose carefully the best quality vegetables & spices to give you a restaurant like soup at home. Knorr is a brand of Unilever.

Brand says no added preservatives in knorr classic thick tomato soup.


Method of preparation -

For Sachet - 
1). Boil water according to the quantity mentioned per sachet. One sachet gives one serving.

2). Cut the sachet and empty whole into a cup or soup bowl.

3). Pour hot boiled water into the cup. Stir well with spoon. You will get sachet mixed with soup powder. Wait for few minutes and you can enjoy it now.

Make knorr classic thick tomato soup in few minutes.


For Bigger Pack -
1). Empty entire contents of pack in 4 cups of normal water (600ml.) in a pan.

Easy to make knorr classic thick tomato soup.


2). Place on the stove & bring to boil while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

3). Simmer for 3minutes & serve hot.
This pack will serve 4 people. Knorr was giving kroutons along with soup. But, it looks like it has stopped it so, you can add crispy pan fried bread pieces & garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.

   MY  EXPERIENCE   ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿต๐ŸŒน

I purchase sometimes sachet and many times bigger pack than sachet that is of net weight of 53g. The price of bigger pack is ₹55. It comes in plastic packaging of green color and red color is used to highlight the content in it. All the details are written in green color.

Knorr classic thick tomato soup comes in sachet too.


It is mentioned there that the product is low in fat.

  INGREDIENTS ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿต๐ŸŒน

The Green box with green dot inside means the product is a vegetarian product.
Ingredients : Sugar, Maize Starch, Tomato Paste Solids(15%), Refined Wheat Flour, Edible Common Salt, Edible Vegetable Fat, Dehydrated Vegetables (Onion Powder, Leeks (1%), Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Spices & Condiments (Black Pepper (0.4%), Anti Caking Agent (551)), Flavor Enhancer (627 & 631), Thickener (415), Red Beet Juice Powder ( Anti Caking Agent (551)), Acidity Regulator (330).

Knorr classic thick tomato soup contains almost natural ingredients.


May contain traces of Soya, Milk, Mustard, Celery & Nuts.

Contains added flavours - Natural (Garlic) and Nature Identical Flavouring Substances.

Knorr classic thick tomato soup contains added flavours.


 PROS. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘ :-

1). Ready to made.

2). No added preservatives as mentioned by the brand on packaging.

3). Taste is good.

4). Easy to make in just few minutes.

No time for restaurant , knorr is here.



5). If you have no time, then it better option.

6). Low fat.

7). Made up of vegetables & Spices as mentioned on pack.

8). Thick soup.

9). Can be used at home , in journey etc. specially sachets that require only boiled water.

10). Very mildly sweet.

Knorr classic thick tomato soup has low fat.



 CONS.๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ‘Ž:-

1). May contain traces of soya, milk, mustard, celery & nuts. So, people who are allergic to these things should avoid or be cautious.

2). No matter it is claimed to be made up of natural ingredients yet you can't say it totally natural and better than homemade.

Knorr classic thick tomato soup takes less time to cook.


3). When I first tried it, the taste was better and even the color was resembling with homemade & restaurant made soups. However, it may be possible that food colors are added in restaurants etc. sometimes. But, then also , when I purchased again the color and taste was different. It was less tastier than before and looked like orange to light red colour.

Every brand from Unilever knorr to patanjali used to make their products in different production units. These units are small or big and the production of material depends on them very much. These products are marketed by then big companies. However,  every company claims to check their product and quality assurance dept. is there to work on it.
